Be aware! Don’t forget your sunscreen!
Don’t end up looking like a lobster. Sunburns are damage to your skin at any level.
Here are some sunscreen tips:
- Use a Broad Spectrum sunscreen. Why? It protects the skin from UVA and UVB rays, both of which can cause skin cancer.
- “Water Resistant” on a label means for 40 minutes. “Very Water Resistant” means for 80 minutes. Sunscreens are NOT waterproof or sweatproof so you must reapply!
- Most adults need about one ounce of sunscreen to fully cover their body properly. That’s enough to fill a shot glass – are you using enough?
At bare aesthetics boutique we love Jane Iredale’s products for our sunscreen! These products are also recommended by the Skin Cancer Foundation. We sell tinted moisturizers, BB creams, powders, hand cream, and lip balms that all have natural mineral sunscreens. The best you can get!
